Driven by passion

I started Next Level Wood Works after spending four years in both residential and commercial construction, where I realized this was more than just work for me—it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I’ve always loved taking nothing and turning it into something solid, meaningful, and built to last.

My journey into barnwood and traditional timber framing began when I was given the chance to try something unique within construction. What started as a new opportunity quickly became an obsession. I fell in love with the craftsmanship and history behind old barns—structures built generations ago with care, skill, and purpose.

Wanting to honor that history, I set out to learn timber framing the way it was originally done, using traditional methods and hand tools, just as early settlers built homes and barns when they first came to America. This style of building has its roots in Europe, and every joint and beam tells a story.

Today, I take pride in saving these old barns and giving them new life. There’s something special about taking a barn down in its original space and then seeing it live on in a new form. To me, these barns are works of art, and preserving them through craftsmanship is what drives everything I do.
